Below is a selection of questions we are asked the most - it's not a full list, every customer has got their own concerns. If you cannot find the answer to your question here, please contact us and will make sure you find the answer.
A: Certification to UKLPG standards is now an online process. All our conversions are inspected and certified to Code Of Practice 11 by mintLPG Ltd who are full UKLPG members. Your vehicle details will be entered on the UKPLG database and will be accessible by DVLA and Insurance Companies. The majority of Insurance Companies require this to be able to cover your car.
A: On most of the vehicles yes but more modern cars are equipped with ABS plastic inlet manifolds which do not need to be removed - if you are in doubt please contact us and we will explain it to you.
A: Well, it depends what LPG System you will opt for. There are systems that guarantee no loss of performance at all but generally speaking you can expect between 5 and 10% - it all depends on the system installed, condition of the vehicle - please contact us and we can discuss your options.
A: Every LPG Conversion from LPG Wales comes with a 2 year warranty. This covers parts and labour for manufactoring defects and excludes problems due to contamination.
A: If it is more convenient for you to collect your car or drop it off on the weekend please contact us and we will arrange it.
A: Yes. If the system has been installed professionally you will have the option of either driving on LPG or petrol.
A: Our workshop is very secure - there's no unauthorised access out of business hours and on top of that we have compulsory Trade Insurance that covers any vehicles left at the workshop. You can see the copy of our Certificate in the office.
